Aims of Activity: |
- To help teachers to become aware of the different approaches in making links between the compulsory and the elective modules in the NSSC,
- To have a deeper understanding of how to integrate the core and the elective modules in their own teaching, and
- To disseminate an example of how a module can be taught through an integrated approach.

Practical demonstration of learning & teaching activities of one part of the module
A sample module which integrated the core and the elective modules was introduced. Participants then worked in groups to try out some activities in different parts of the module. |

Getting to know the whole module and concluding remarks
The participants got into a different group to comment on and help each other to gain a better understanding of the activities in the parts they had tried out. As concluding remarks, the participants were encouraged to consider adopting the integration mode in teaching NSSC and different ways of adapting the use of the sample module were also suggested.
