新學制自2009年9月推行，當中的新高中課程廣闊均衡，包括了4個核心科目、2至3個選修科及「其他學習經歷」，以助學生達至全人發展。新學制提供的不同科目選擇和學習經歷，幫助學生釋放自己的潛能，讓他們成為學習的主人，發展其事業抱負及追尋個人夢想。為使大眾進一步認識新學制，教育局製作本視像光碟，輯錄了一些學生真實的學習故事，以及社會人士的看法。

The New Academic Structure (NAS) has been implemented since September 2009. The provisions of the broad and balanced New Senior Secondary Curriculum, which include 4 core subjects, 2-3 elective subjects and Other Learning Experiences (OLE), are to enable students to attain all-round development. The diversified subject choice and the learning experience under the NAS have unleashed individual's potential. The NAS allows students to become masters of their learning and develop their career aspirations as well as their personal dreams. In order to enhance public understanding of the NAS, the Education Bureau has produced the DVD as an audio-visual resource, which highlights some authentic learning stories of students and views from stakeholders.
