The New Senior Secondary (NSS) Curriculum has already been implemented since September
2009. Other Learning Experiences (OLE), as an essential component in the NSS curriculum, aims at facilitating students’ lifelong learning capacities and promoting students’ whole-person development. Schools should allocate sufficient learning time and offer a range
of OLE opportunities on five areas, including Moral and Civic Education, Community Service, Career-related Experiences, Aesthetic Development and Physical Development. In addition, every student is encouraged to build a Student
Learning Profile (SLP) for recording and reflecting on their learning experiences and achievements during the senior secondary years. The purpose of
SLP is to provide supplementary information on secondary school leavers’ competencies and specialties in order to give a fuller picture of the students.
On top of these arrangements, it is important that schools/ teachers could assist students to learn from OLE and SLP. This webpage is designed to provide a resource corner for sharing school examples on learning experiences and relevant learning resources for teachers' reference. Schools should make use of the resources according to their contexts.
