The cycloid is the locus of a point on the rim of a circle rolling along a straight line. In this project, we attempted to find the arc length of cycloid and the area under the cycloid by observing the cycloids produced from various regular polygons. Specially, we used Excel as a tool instead of the method of integration. Furthermore, we also studied the properties of Epicycloid and Hypocycloid.
