Summary:

We always hear people say, 'For mathematics, we just need the four basic arithmetic operations in our daily lives, the others are not applicable.' However, is this true?

Of course not! Mathematics can be used in many aspects in our daily lives. For example, we use Arabic numerals for representing telephone numbers, time, date, price, etc. If we didn't have these numbers, our daily lives would be inconvenient. As we see, mathematics can be found everywhere.

In this project, we choose three examples to discuss how mathematics is applied in our daily lives. We hope that after you read the project, you will find mathematics is very useful, and have a deeper understanding of mathematics.
