> Abstract

Managing new curriculum initiatives which lead to school change and improvement is one of the most complex tasks of school leadership. School leaders must learn to overcome barriers and cope with the chaos that naturally exists during the complex process of change (Fullan & Miles, 1992). In response to the MOI fine-tuning arrangements, since 2010 teachers of SMKMCF Ma Ko Pan Memorial College have been implementing a series of LAC measures aimed at preparing both teachers and students for a change in the MOI used in most content subjects from Cantonese in P6 to English in junior secondary.
