> Abstract

e-Learning is one of the major concerns in the three-year school development plan (2015/16-2017/18) of Lok Sin Tong Young Ko Hsiao Lin Secondary School to raise students’ learning effectiveness. Since most teachers have limited experience in implementing e-learning, they would like to develop their confidence and professional capacity in making effective use of e-resources and e-learning tools to facilitate learning, teaching and assessment. Through systematic planning and infusion of e-learning at junior and senior levels, they also wanted to boost students’ motivation to learn English and develop their creativity, information technology, collaboration and independent learning skills, which are essential skills of the 21st century.
