• To enhance students’ motivation to learn English
• To enable students to understand themselves better to prepare for their future study and career
• To increase students’ understanding of the knowledge, skills and values and attitudes required in a variety of jobs

• To raise teachers’ awareness of promoting Life Planning Education as part of academic subjects to build up a connectedness between secondary education and further studies or career path
