Applications of the SAMR model were shown and the e-tools were introduced in planning the English Language curriculum. An example of a unit was given out to teachers to help them think about how they can infuse e-learning elements into different learning or teaching (L/T) stages so as to make student learning more interesting and effective (as compared with the more conventional ways of teaching).
Teachers were shown how to integrate the SAMR model and different e-tools into the teaching of reading, grammar and vocabulary.
Teachers gained some practical try-outs on integrating different e-tools at the production stage (writing) of a unit to increase L/T effectiveness.
Teachers shared their ideas of how to incorporate e-learning into writing for students.
A sample including different e-tools in the writing task based on the SAMR model was provided.

Teachers from HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No. 2 Secondary School shared their school-based experiences, including obstacles and solutions in integrating e-learning in the English Language curriculum.
