 To demonstrate how effective lesson observations can be used as a vehicle to promote professional growth and foster a learning culture in the English panel

 To provide a platform for participants of the CLD programme to share their experience in writing up a subject plan, difficulties or challenges encountered and possible solutions

 Sharing findings of a pre-workshop survey about how lesson observations are conducted in the participants' schools
 Sharing a school-based lesson observation practice

Part 2: Pre- and while-lesson observation stages
 
 Introducing the Kotter's 8-step change model and how curriculum leaders (CLs) can engage and enable the panel through conducting lesson observations
 Preparing observers for a focused lesson observation on catering for learner diversity
 Observing and giving feedback on an online lesson and exploring what makes an effective online lesson

Part 3: Post-lesson observation stage
 
 Highlighting the features of effective feedback
 Introducing a protocol for post-lesson observation discussion
 Sharing case studies to explore how to transform observations into quality feedback and maintain a professional dialogue
 Recapping how to apply CL capabilities through post-lesson observation tasks
