Setting up the LAC committee provided the platform for inter-departmental collaboration and whole school development of LAC.

Identifying appropriate entry points such as the use of knowledge structures and the development of students’ reading skills helped teachers integrate a language focus into content subjects and make cross-curricular links among different KLAs.

Systematic and strategic planning allows for the implementation to be extended from one level to more levels and from one year planning to cross-year planning.
