> Abstract

To assist their students with learning difficulties, three primary school teachers embarked on a project exploring the particular problems of dyslexic learners when learning English. Through ongoing diagnosis, modification of curriculum planning and class teaching, the teachers managed to help students in P4 and P5 to alleviate learning problems such as dysgraphia and spelling difficulties. They were also able to spot some major types of mistakes in the writing and speaking of these students, identify what strategies could be effective in tackling this and any implications for teaching and learning.
