Our Reflection

Project Teacher
Professional development: the co-learning with students
“I have found myself grown with my students. I’ve found myself a co-learner.”
Professional development: facilitating skills
“I have learnt the difference between teaching and facilitating. I have become a person to make “produce not provide” possible.’’

Core Members
To strengthen the sense of ownership of learning
“As for learning reflection, we never envisaged that what I learnt from the activity could be applied in other areas. We attempted to design a transfer project upon completion of our service, in which the sense of responsibility, communication skills, attention and endurance fostered during our service were applied to the areas of commitment to others, engagement in housework, studying and preparation for activities. This experience has strongly reminded us that learning requires flexible use of the knowledge acquired, experience gaining for future improvement and full application of what we learnt.”
To strengthen reflective capability
“I can apply the skills acquired from this experience to make myself a ‘life-long learner’ who have strong reflective capability and can constantly design learning experience for myself.”
To develop reflective habits
“I always thought that self-reflection as requested by teachers made no sense before. However, possibly because I have learnt a lot and I have recognized that I need to improve a lot from this activity. I have also developed reflective habits naturally.”
