Project Name :
Promote low carbon life through competition and workshop
Number of Core Students :

Project Descriptions :
Our school is going to promote “the low carbon life” to them, for example; eat more vegetables, less meats which can reduce the volume of producing the carbon dioxide. We want to hold a larger scale activity, not just only promote the environmental protection’s idea in our school. We hope to publicize it across the primary school. The education is needed to start at younger age.

Our Reflection :
Project Teacher
Life long learning
“Students were not only organizing activities for promoting environmental protection for other students. They also built leadership ability. The most important was that they learned how to reflect from learning which is vital for their life long learning capacity.”
Designers of own learning experiences
“Students planned to be a designer in this project that they designed to do something more than I expected as they wanted to learn more. These designers were well informed that they would learn more when they do more and reflect more. Their initiation was so great that even they chose something harder to achieve.”
Core Members
Sense of agency
“We were given a chance to be the director and designer in the program. We gave ideas and directed the whole event, it allowed us to grow a lot and learn more different skills. Besides, there were lots of chances for us to cooperate with others. I have learnt the communication skills such as patience and broken the membrane between different ages.”
Personal growth
“In the activity, I have learnt a lot. Different learners were in charge of different stages or category, we gave opinions to each other, so we saw the growth of each other and knew what we need to improve.”
