Project Name : Service Day for Form 4 Volunteers
Number of Core Students  : 14
Project Descriptions : Organize fund-raising carnivals for the social welfare organizations and churches. We hope to organize excellent "Other Learning Experiences" activities for our students and help them experience and grow through the activities. We expect students can enhance their problem-solving, collaboration, and communication capabilities through learning.

  • Through organizing different meetings, core members can exchange views so as to strengthen the cooperation of Preparatory Committee.

Trust to students
Finally we decided to let go. Although we know that it is a difficult task for the students to design the activity by themselves, we still let them have their own ideas. Finally our students really encountered many problems but they could still accomplish the whole activity. From this experience, we learn that it is important to give trust to our students. Learning is to let students experience failures and finally they will become mature.

Core Members
Accept others’ opinions I gain a lot from this project. I learn to listen others’ opinions. Since other people will have many innovative ideas which make me understand listening and accepting others’ opinions is very important.
Sense of responsibility

We believe that the participants could learn cooperation between each other, communication skill and the sense of responsibility. Some students lacked of keen attitudes towards our committees’ request before the activity, however, with our committee and teachers continuous effort to invoke, they gradually knew the importance of   the Carnival. They took up the responsibility and paid effort to the activity.
