Project Name : 愛心樂滿將軍澳 (English translation: Tseung Kwan O Love and Care Day)
Number of Core Students  : 12
Project Descriptions :

Through launching in the whole school, including junior secondary (the elderly, children); senior secondary (the disabled, the elderly, the street sleepers, and the mentally handicapped, it is hoped that the activity organization can be developed from school/teacher-led to student-led. Currently, community service activities/learning experiences of the School are organized by teachers, but if students can take the initiative/assist in organizing or taking part in activities which will arouse personal/group interest, such practice will not only enhance students’ leadership, but also their learning interest and contribution to social services.

Our Reflection :
Project Teacher
Students’ personal development, leadership and self-confidence
“Through this project, students learnt how to coordinate activities, cooperate with team members, develop communication skills and liaise with organizations, etc. During each discussion, students learnt from mistakes and learnt to accept others’ opinions and make up for each other’s deficiencies. Within only a short period of half year, teachers were surprised to witness students’ growth, improved leadership and boosted self-confidence. Looking forward, the participating students are expected to be capable of assisting their teachers in organizing various kinds of activities and become outstanding leaders.”

Core Members
Self-regulated learning ability
“Even if we had weaknesses, we can turn our weaknesses into experience. Experience will then contribute to our success.”
