Our Reflection :

Project Teacher
A New Understanding of “Teaching” and “Learning”

“In our past knowledge, teachers always took the initiative to teach while students being passive to learn. I was deeply impressed by the students in the learning process as they did not necessarily need teacher's initiative to teach. As long as we are willing to let them try and encourage them to face failures and difficulties, their achievements could be far beyond our imagination and more meaningful. On the other hand, I learnt some valuable things during the process such as trusting my students, being patient to them as well as the importance of encouraging them.”

Core Members
Encourage the heart “While I was in a blue mood, my partner continued to encourage and support me. This released my tense and increased my confidence so I could take my first step to try.”
Challenge the process

“I have learned to use correct and positive attitude towards this event, so I shared and gave advice in every discussion. I remember that all the proposals were rejected such as charity, environmental-friendly paper workshop, so I proposed to organise environmental protection and energy saving competition. The criteria were to check the trash, computers, air-conditioners in classrooms... ultimately made the activities held successfully.”

Model the way

“As a leader, it is very important to be a role model for others and lead by example. These experiences are very useful for me to organise activities in the future.”
